Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo and City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla expressed gratitude to the German Ministry of Defense for the generous donation of yet another set of medical equipment and instruments for the City Health Office through the Sampaguita-Deutsch-Philippinischer Club e.V. of Germany represented by its Chairperson Araceli Bejar Heimann that will be utilized to enhance the delivery of basic health services.

Among the items donated are: rigi-box twin; stand lamp (adjustable); viewing box, x-film; stereoscope R12; vertex refractometer’ Doctor Medical Equipment: Accident case with business bag; needle holder; surgical tweezers (small model); vision sign Projector Type Rodavist; suction device medical surgery suction portable; surgical Instruments, small surgery, troop instruments; pulse oximeter, battery operated; Stand  Irrigator, stand washbowl mobile with 2 bowls cross shape; hot-cold compress; forceps intestine; bandage scissors plastic handle; arterial clamp; retractor according to Roux double ended sheet size; scissors, surgical straight, blunt; tourniquet, blood stain, elastic webbing; retractor; tracheostomy; wrapping cloth and envelope, sterilization, green.

The turnover of the medical equipment was held at the City Health Office 2 in Barangay Talay last Friday (July 1, 2022) in the presence of Mayor Remollo, Dr. Talla, Mrs Heimann, Dr. Benju Lito Caturay and the medical staff.
